Final stage!

THE RACE

Nicolas:”Such a good start with the Navigation,………crashed -> broken oil-cooler & Roadbook-switch.”

All to do well.

At the kilometer 30 already ten pilots followed my track. My navigation was on top. To open the track, the dangers are multiplied.

Off-piste and in the middle of the vegetation, I have the misfortune to fall on the crevasses of my site. Disaster! When I fall, the oil cooler will be broken with two holes.

The repair will take a lot of time. An American and an English guy will come to lend me a hand to allow me to continue the race.

Bad luck, still two places lost in the general to 17th.

Little consolation, 2nd place in veteran category.

The final stage is traditionally a bit shorter, but not to be underestimated as often the sting is in the tail. Anything is still possible. You’ll drive north along the railway track and cross it numerous times. It’s pure WRC fun again through the fields and pampas of North Morocco but it demands utter concentration of both pilot and co-pilot because of the many cap changes and difficult navigation.

Glory, a fresh drink, and champagne for the winners, await you at the finish line.
